I am so excited to announce that Barbara & Jim’s wedding has been featured on the wedding blog BlushLoveWed!! Be sure to head on over there and check it out! :)

 

I have had some people ask me how I’m getting my work published on all of these different blogs and the answer is Two Bright Lights. Two Bright Lights is an online publicity platform where you can easily upload your favorite images from a wedding or photo shoot and instantly send them to blogs and magazines to be published. The best part about Two Bright Lights is that even if your submission doesn’t get accepted to a blog or magazine there is no hassle of re-uploading the pictures because they are automatically saved to an album in your account and all you have to do is submit that album to another one of their editorial partners. It's that easy and awesome! :)

Barbara & Jim’s Southlake Courthouse Wedding: Sneak Peek

This past weekend I got to shoot my second wedding! Even better, I got to shoot it with my hubby for his birthday! :) Barbara and Jim got married in front of their closest friends and family at the Southlake Town Square courthouse. The ceremony was followed by a small reception at Brio’s. Everything was absolutely beautiful and we had a lot of fun spending the day with this awesome couple! Teresa & Randy’s Intimate Southlake Wedding

Last weekend I got the opportunity to shoot my very first wedding for Teresa & Randy at a friend of theirs home in Southlake, Texas. Teresa was referred to me by a mutual friend. Unfortunately, we didn’t meet until their wedding day so I wasn’t able to get to know this couple personally beforehand, but I do know their wedding was beautiful and surrounded by people who love them. Here are some highlights from their wedding day:

 

Now I know some people may be wondering what I thought about shooting my first wedding, so here it is: I loved it! :) Yes, it was tiring and yes, I was nervous at times. But the excitement/hecticness of a wedding day and watching two people commit their lives to one another while surrounded by their loved ones is such a pleasure to not only witness but to provide them with those memories.
