Gunter Portrait Shoot

Wow! I swear I’m getting busier and busier! Anyway, so I know I said that I was going to try and post the rest of the photos from the Gunter shoot last week but unfortunately school and life got in the way. However, I’ve finally finished editing the images and here they are! Enjoy! :)

Happy Friday! :)

Gunter Portrait Session: Sneak Peek

Yesterday I posted about how I went out to Gunter, Texas this past weekend with my sister-in-law, Heather, to meet Leslie Spurlock & a couple other photographers for a girls night shootout. Well, I have been anxious to post some of the photos I got, so I decided to go ahead and give y’all a little sneak peek. Enjoy! :)

More to come soon! Happy Wednesday! :)

Downtown Fort Worth Portrait Session

Remember a couple of weeks ago when I posted a preview of my sister-in-law’s Downtown Fort Worth portraitsession? Well, since then I have been super busy with school, among other things, and just hadn’t found the time to edit the rest of her images. However, yesterday I found a little time in-between studying for two exams and preparing for Valentine’s Day weekend (my mom’s birthday is on V-Day so it’s also a birthday weekend). Anyways, enough rambling, here are the rest of the pictures from Heather’s portrait session! :)

If you would like to see more, I will be posting all of these along with some others on my Facebook page. So friend me on Facebook to see more! :)
P.S. for Photogs: If you don’t already know, the 3 day Boudoir Workshop with Christa Meola starts today at 11:00am (central time) on CreativeLIVE! I will definitely be watching and hope you all will too! :) Just click the link below to watch live:

Happy Friday!

Downtown Fort Worth Portrait Session Preview

It was a beautiful yet cold Saturday last weekend in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. My husband, who just got a new job in Fort Worth, said that we should go downtown for the day to show me his new office building and possibly take some pictures while we’re over there. I immediately agreed, as I’m always up for taking pictures but said I wish I had some models to photograph. So Daniel called up his sister, Heather, to see if she would be willing to be a model for me and she was all for it! She’s the best! J Anyways, to make a long story short, we took a bunch of pictures in Downtown Fort Worth (in the middle of the day I might add) and finished up the rest of the session in Southlake. So below is just a little sneak peek while I finish editing the rest of the pictures from our photo shoot that day. Enjoy! :)

This was my first photo shoot with my new camera (Canon 7D) and shot primarily with my 50mm f/1.8 and 35mm f/2 lenses. I’ll be posting more of them soon. Until next time, Happy Thursday!
